Professional Showering

Chris and I were so honored to be showered by his work folks.

That's us.

And look at this cake! It looks just like our Skip Hop Treetop Friends!

Can you believe that one of Chris' co-worker's husband made this??!?!

They had a wonderful spread for us to enjoy.

And look at this diaper cake!!! It's amazing. It was so pretty and accented with our owls and stroller toys. These ladies went all out!

They had boards where people could guess the date and the weight.

We will see who is a winner soon!

They also had baby food that you had to guess what it was.

And above and beyond all of that were the gifts!! LT stands for Little Topher. (Christopher)

This blanket has Thad Everett on it and is beautiful.

These people were so generous. Here's a wonderful diaper bag.

Here's some diaper cream: Butt Paste.

They had a game where everyone got a clothes pin and you couldn't say the word "organic" nor could you cross your legs. If you did one of those things, the person who caught you doing it, got your clothes pins.

Mario was clearly the winner.

The entire group, along with all the individual gifts, also got us our pack and play, which I'm unbelievable thankful for.

Here's Chris with the cart we needed to get all our gifts to the car.

These people are amazing.

Laura even came up to help us celebrate.

Aubrey played a special role getting all this together, and we enjoyed every aspect of it.

We are so appreciative for all of the love!!

Memphis Shower

I have been so loved to be showered for Everett, and my Memphis girls went above and beyond.

They threw me a wonderful shower, filled with a Fall feeling.

Orange and green accented the party, right down to the flowers.
(I'm stealing quite a few of these photos from Laura, because my camera, which you see in the photo below, didn't get any use. I was having way too much fun to remember to photograph much!)

Sarah made yummy cupcakes with a leaf on each one!

Laura even cut the pimento cheese and bacon sandwiches into leaves!!

These were Oreo truffles, and oh my, they were good!

Carmel apple dip had my favorite candy in it--toffee.

The door held the invitation--yes, that's a blue diaper!

Each of the guests added their thumb print to this tree, which is now framed in the nursery. Look for that update soon!

I love this so much.

Did I mention the cupcakes?

And friends!! Lord, I've got some good friends.

Thanks for having it at your house, Jenny!

These lovely candies were peanut butter, pretzels and chocolate. This plate did not last long.

Two of my awesome hostesses.

All the hostess and me! I really appreciate such a wonderful showering for Everett and me.

We've got to get better at group pictures. Somehow, we've got quite a few shorties in the group and some ended up in the back row!

As favors, the girls gave Evergreen tree saplings with a saying on them.

"Every backyard need an Everett-green tree. Like the boy, It'll grow tall as can be."

So thoughtful! I've got several of them in pots in our backyard.

And, here is three generations of ladies. Thanks to Chris for taking this photo before we left for the shower. Pretty soon, we'll have a fourth generation to squeeze and snuggle in this photo!
